How do I work the TZ-220?  This video shows you all of the features.

How do I set it

TZ-120:  While holding down the key button, press hours and minutes until you get the desired time.  Press the key and arrow buttons at the same time to start the countdown.  You should see the colon blink indicating it’s counting down

TZ-220: On the side, switch it to timer. While holding down the key button, press hours and minutes until you get the desired time.  Press the key and arrow buttons at the same time to set the alarm.  You should see a bell icon on the screen indicating it’s set.

How do I shut it off

Press the key, hour and minute keys together at the same time.

How do I change the battery

On the bottom of the screaming meanie there is a sliding hatch, slide it open.

I have a problem, what’s the best way to fix it

Remove the battery and flip it over, reversing the polarity (holding + to + and - to -) Hold it that way for about 10 seconds.  This does a hard reset of the internal workings.  This fixes most problems.  If you have any other problems, give us a call at 503 582 8787

What’s the difference between the 120 and 220

The 120 is a countdown timer only, the 220 is also a count down timer, but it has a clock also, allowing it to be set like a traditional alarm clock.
